What is it with the TV news nowadays that when they're talking about a big story (ie the Indian terrorist attacks) at length, they show the same clip of film over and over and over and over and over and over and over again?The coverage of the 9/11 attacks was the first time I noticed this - I'm sure they never used to do it before - now they do it all the time.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who is driven absolutely insane by this.
It's the bloody Groundhog Day news!!

Reuters and the Press association have the film cips which they sell to all the media..
No one has in place reporters so their are no pictures from their own sources.
And all that 'streaming' along the bottom of the screen with 'breaking news' etc - it all gets jumbled up in my head!
