I think that Churches are wonderful historic buildings and are of course very photogenic (as are the graveyards). So I'm going to - over the next few months - photograph as many of my local Churches as possible. I started today in the freezing fog!
This is the first: St John the Evangelist, Church in Wales, Pool Quay. Built in 1862. I don't know any more about than that I'm afraid!

I agree, churches are wonderful subjects for photographs. This one is really beautiful and the stained glass windows are magnificent. Wonderful old headstones too!
Happy New Year!
Sunny :)
Sunny: and to you!
I am looking forward to more of your pictures in this series :-)
I can almost feel the cold coming off the first picture and I always love to see stained glass windows.
Beautiful church. The shot of the stained glass windows is gorgeous.
