House Sparrow Emptying Feeder

The Sparrows in my garden empty this feeder about every two days.

Here's one of them in action.

Hungry lot these. Along with the Starlings, they cost me a fortune, but worth it.

They certainly do cost a fortune (but worth it as you say).
I've started making my own fat balls - much cheaper!
Also buy nuts and raisins from budget shops etc rather than as pre packed bird food, also cheaper.

I have a feeder out also but now that the weather is warmer I don't need to fill it as often as the winter.
